Or noughts and crosses. Whatever you call it, it’s a good game. And we learnt to play it the other day.
It’s dead easy. All you need is a pencil and some paper. Or a mini whiteboard and a marker (plus an old sock to use as an eraser).
And your wits about you. And someone to play against.
First you draw a grid.
And then one of you chooses to be a nought 0 and the other is the cross X.
The idea is to get a line of three 0s (or Xs) whilst also stopping your opponent from doing the same…..
Anyway, by now we are experts and so we decided…..
to teach the game…..
to our reading buddies…..
from year two.
Now I wonder; was that a year 1 win do you think?
