I wonder how many of you have rabbits as pets.

You know what they say about rabbits?  Well, we have dozens of the things in the classroom following Wednesday’s art lesson.

It all began with a piece of chalk and a sheet of coloured paper.

Using the chalk, we sketched the outline of a rabbit onto our paper.

Next, we took a piece of sponge.  This we dipped into a tub of white paint…..

and used to press paint all over the rabbit we had drawn.

We used the edges of the sponge…..

to the lines.

Then we carefully painted a black outline…..

all the way round our rabbit.

Lastly, a few finishing touches.  Pink for earses and noses.  A dab of black for the eyes, a soft cotton-wool tail - and some lush spring-green grass…..
