Remember how some of our grandmas told us that they played with wooden dolls when they were small? Well, the other day we had a go at making our own wooden dolls. Our dolls though, had a secret.
Look closely.
Can you see what it is, this secret?
If Tim squeezes his fingers together, watch what happens to the doll’s legs;
They can even kick a ball, these (football-playing) dolls.
If you are still not sure, why not ask someone in class 1b to tell you how we made them. But sshhh…..don’t spoil our secret!
And now, as it is a nice blowy day, I am off outside to hang up my washing.
